Plot Outline: Gamer takes place in the non-too-distant future, where video games and reality TV have gone way beyond the boundaries of today. 2018's top-rated show pits prison convicts against each other in a deadly militaristic game. John Tillman (Butler), framed and imprisoned for life for a crime he did not commit, must participate in the Game to win release from his sentence.
