Hi all Michael fans. I seem to be a little behind the news, but I just found out about these Dodge commercials featuring Michael’s voice. They’re all actually pretty funny. One of them was controversial because it had a monkey, and then PETA complained and they had to digitally remove the real monkey and put in an invisible monkey. Political correctness is really hilarious sometimes. Continue reading to see the clips!
Hi all Michael fans. It seems that the newest controversy about Dexter is that Toys R Us is starting to carry Dexter action figures. Some parents are really upset that a serial killer is on the store’s shelves along with Elmo. I just find it kind of funny because there are other action figures of villains and heroes at Toys R. Us, too. Also, there are tons of toy knives and guns and it is really up to the parents as to what their kids should and should not play with. I am guessing that these toys would be picked up by Dexter fans, and not kids idolizing serial killers. At least, I hope kids aren’t idolizing serial killers. The dolls were marked that they are not intended for children and Toys R. Us only ordered a small stock. According to the report these action figures are selling out fairly quickly. Anyway, if you are interested in the action figures and don’t want to get weird looks from these parents at Toys R. Us then they are available at Amazon.com, too. I think they would make great gifts for Michael/Dexter fans. There are several versions and they all look pretty close to Michael/Dexter.
What do you think? Are people making too big of a deal out of this? Would you let your kids play with a Dexter/Michael C. Hall action figure? Talk about it in the Dexter Morgan forums!

As you know, Michael C. Hall has been battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma this year. This is a type of cancer of the white blood cells, but he is currently in remission. As a star who is personally affected by cancer, Michael will be appearing in the Stand Up to Cancer television special on September 10th, 2010. This is a multiple network special that aims to raise money for cancer research. Make sure to check your local TV listings!

Hi guys, after the Emmy snub Michael is back to filming Season 5 of Dexter! This amazing show will premier on Sept 26th on Showtime. If you do not have Showtime then each episode will be available after it airs on Amazon or iTunes. It is actually cheaper to buy the episodes on these services instead of subscribing to Showtime if Dexter is the only show you watch. I know that’s the only show I watch.
Anyway, if you want to catch up on Dexter online then Seasons 1 through 4 are all available on Amazon and iTunes. Amazon is a bit cheaper and each season is only 18.99 online if you go for the standard definition. Here are some quick links:
Dexter Season 1 | Watch on Amazon|

Dexter Season 2 | Watch on Amazon|

Dexter Season 3 | Watch on Amazon|
Dexter Season 4 | Watch on Amazon|
Whatever you do, you MUST watch Season 4 before Season 5 starts. It is seriously the best season of Dexter I have seen so far and I have a feeling Season 5 will top it.

To make things brief, unfortunately Michael lost Outstanding Actor in a Drama to Bryan Cranston for a third year in a row for his performance on the show Breaking Bad. And Dexter was beat by Mad Men for Outstanding Drama.
Dexter did win in the following categories however: Outstanding Directing and Outstanding Guest Actor For A Drama Series.
I’m really too tired to update with pics right now, but three pictures of Michael and Jennifer have been uploaded on the site’s twitter, @mchonline. I’ll have more to follow tomorrow!

Dexter star Michael C. Hall has admitted that he hopes the show will win an Emmy award.
The showtime drama is nominated for ‘Outstanding Drama Series’, while Hall himself is up for ‘Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series’ for his role as serial killer Dexter Morgan.
“I feel like any award for the show is an award for all of us,” he told Zap2It. “To have that formally recognised so that people could really, without reservation, share a collective sense of pride would be amazing.”
However, he insisted that he feels honored just to be nominated for an award.
In this new Dexter promo, the cast talks about the new season while enough first look footage is shown to make this three minutes well worth the watch. Caution for spoilers as per usual!
By the way, The Emmys are this Sunday! Tune in to them and the site to see if Michael or the show picks up any statues! The Creative Arts Emmy’s were this past week and some of the categories winners have already been revealed. Out of them Dexter picked up one win! Score another one for John Lithgow! :)
