I came across 24 high quality pictures of Michael at the Museum of Moving Image Honors event and added them in the gallery for your viewing pleasure. Better late than never, huh! I also discovered some additional stills of the latter half of Dexter‘s first season. Enjoy!
By the way, the experts over at Gold Derby predict that Michael C. Hall will land in the Emmy Top 10. Here’s to hoping!

Showtime’s complete second season of the awesome serial killer series, Dexter, is arriving on DVD August 19th. Specific box set details are forthcoming. Over the course of the twelve episodes that comprised this series’ sophomore run, Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) faces his lethal “addiction” and balances his relationships with Rita (Julie Benz) and newcomer Lila (Jaime Murray) all the while skirting suspicion that he’s the Bay Harbor Butcher.

Michael C. Hall’s Dexter has been named as one of the recipients of the 67th Annual Peabody Awards, considered TV Land’s most prestigious honor that:
…recognize distinguished achievement and meritorious public service by TV and radio stations, networks, producing organizations, individuals and the World Wide Web.
The awards program, established in 1940 and administered by the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, is the oldest, most prestigious honor in electronic media.
Here’s what they wrote about Dexter:
Dexter Showtime, John Goldwyn Productions, The Colleton Company, Clyde Phillips Productions
With a premise that questions our fondness for avenging heroes – a serial killer who channels his dark urges into police forensics and the killing of other sociopaths – this Showtime series is a masterful psychological thriller and a complex and ambiguous meditation on morality.
The awards will be doled out by NBC newsman Brian Williams in a ceremony held June 16 in New York.
Last but not least, here’s a little blurb from People.com regarding Michael and Jennifer celebrating the win in Los Angeles:
Also at the Sunset Towers: Michael C. Hall, celebrating his Peabody Award with his Dexter costar and girlfriend Jennifer Carpenter.
Congratulations, Michael!
The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films has announced the nominations for the 34th Annual Saturn Awards. Dexter has picked up a few nominations and one for Michael himself! He is nominated in the Best Actor on Television category for Dexter. Congrats & good luck to Michael! His fellow nominees are Edward James Olmos (Battlestar Galactica), Matt Dallas (Kyle XY), Kevin McKidd (Journeyman), Lee Pace (Pushing Daisies) and Matthew Fox (Lost). Although Michael C. Hall and Liev Schrieber (The Omen) have been rumored for the part of the villainous William Stryker in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the role has reportedly gone to actor Danny Huston, most known from his work as the lead vampire in 30 Days of Night.
JoBlo.com reports that Huston will play the younger version of the military scientist played in X2: X-Men United by Brian Cox, and that he’s already in New Zealand preparing for the role. Stryker is the brains behind the Weapon X program that turned Logan into the adamantium-laced Wolverine.
USA Today has published the very first still of Hugh Jackman in the movie so production is very much underway and filming as we speak. Hopefully an official casting announcement will happen soon and we can find out some truth to the matters.
Thanks to Ally for the heads up, we have scans from the February 11th issue of TV Guide! In the brief article, it’s lists 5 reasons they love Dexter and there is old Emmy Magazine picture of Michael. Be sure to check them out!
Dexter‘s first season (edited for basic television of course) will begin re-airing on February 17th at 10:00PM on CBS. If you’ve never caught the series before, now is your chance. Don’t miss it!

On behalf of all of the fans, we want to wish a very happy birthday to Mr Hall, who turns 37-years old today. Happy birthday and all the best on your special day, Michael!
A few hours ago Michael attended the 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, he doubled as a presenter and nominee. Unfortunately (again!) Michael C. Hall was snubbed as an ‘Actor’, as the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a TV Series went to James Gandolfini for a little show you might have heard of called The Sopranos. :umm: Regardless, Michael lit up the room and interviewers with his charm and wit!
Pictures are still incredibly scarce at the moment, but check back as we will be adding many more as they become available!
Edit: A total of 20 pictures have been uploaded, a mixture of MQ and HQ. Hopefully we’ll be able to gather up more in the next few days.
