To make things brief, unfortunately Michael lost Outstanding Actor in a Drama to Bryan Cranston for a third year in a row for his performance on the show Breaking Bad. And Dexter was beat by Mad Men for Outstanding Drama.
Dexter did win in the following categories however: Outstanding Directing and Outstanding Guest Actor For A Drama Series.

It makes me sad. I have no idea why Michael didn’t win. His performance is always beyond amazing. Award ceremonies annoy me sometimes. Same with Dexter not winning its like the best show out there right now.

Totally bummed – they should ask the ‘real’ people what they think! :) (especially the ones who only keep Showtime because of this show…)
I´m still shocked! I cannot believe he didn´t win, his performance was amaazing and I really know he deserved that Emmy more than Bryan. I still have hopes for Michael, next year it´s yours man! anyway he was amazing and I am really happy knowing he is doing great.
