After several Golden Globe nominations Michael C. Hall has finally taken home the prize for his truly outstanding work in the fourth season of Dexter! This is truly overdue and I couldn’t be more happier for him.
Not only is Michael victorious, John Lithgow won for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. Dexter lost Best Series – Drama to Mad Men but I honestly don’t even care, I’m so happy for Michael!
Congrats to the Dexter family!

As he spoke, his Dexter co-star John Lithgow, who had just won the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role, looked on with his hands clasped and an enormous smile on his face. So too was Dexter co-star and real life wife Jennifer Carpenter beaming.
“Jennifer, all my love and gratitude,” he said.
He then added, “Hi mom!”

I see u all write FINALLY!!! like this season was better than the 1st the 2nd or maybe it was better than the 3rd but come on he didnt deserve this…so has he truly earned it? Sorry guys but Patrick Janes from the Mentalist was the best by far 
We are writing ‘FINALLY’ because Michael is amazing actor and has been nominated several years now (as well as his previous work on Six Feet Under) and he was never rewarded for his talents, so as FANS (since this is a fan site) we are happy he has finally one.
And for the record I do think the fourth season was the second best to season 1 so I think it’s a totally justified win!

Its about time ! I am so happy he won cause Michael is so talented and he is the best right now. Dexter should’ve won also over Mad Men and I was suprised at that?!?

Thank for giving us such a greats performances every chapter playing Morgan Dexter. The best and the honest tv serie I´have ever seen. Four seasons and remains so amazing as the first chapter was. Congrats from Spain for the Golden Award! and my best wishes and energies to your complete recovery.

Congratulations! Michael is a great actor and he has proved that is a great person too. I am so happy for he and for Jennifer. They are a lovely couple! He will be fine so soon and we will be very glad to see all his future work.

I’m so happy he won. It was long overdue! And so well deserved.
I wasn’t sure I’d stay up – the Globes began at 2 am in my time zone – but I’m mroe than happy that I did stay up. I got teary during his speech. Such a great, talented guy. Wish him all the best!
And John deserved it too! Congrats to both amazing actors. A shame Mad Men won once again…
