The cast of Dexter wasn’t shocked when its star Michael C. Hall secretly wed Jennifer Carpenter, who plays his sister on the Showtime show.

“I wasn’t that surprised,” James Remar told Usmagazine.com at Sunday’s Screen Actors Guild Awards. “It was nice.”

Remar said the two were always “very comfortable together. They were very chatty from the day they met. They really seem to enjoy talking with each other.

Michael C. Hall and Jennifer are at the SAG Awards tonight and here are the first few pictures. Don’t they look gorgeous?

Michael didn’t win for Leading Actor in a TV Series, that one went to Hugh Laurie and Drama TV Show ensemble went to Mad Men and not Dexter.

Michael C. Hall has married co-star Jennifer Carpenter, who plays his sister on the television show, the actor’s representative said on Friday.

They wed on New Year’s Eve in picturesque Big Sur, California, and she had a wedding ring linked to a bouquet, Hall’s representative Craig Bankey said in a statement.

The ring was passed down from Carpenter’s grandfather.

Hall, 37, and Carpenter, 29, dated for a year and-a-half before being married, Bankey said.

The couple — who just finished the third season of Dexter — will walk the red carpet together at Sunday’s Golden Globes. It will be the first time that they’ve publicly acknowledged their relationship.
