Yesterday Rolling Stone and Us Weekly magazines threw a premiere party for the season opening episodes of Dexter and Californication. Michael was, of course, in attendance. He was photographed with lots of cool people like Marie-Louise Parker, Alan Cumming and Mario Cantone. 40 pics have been added in the gallery.
I have added the video, screencaps and HQ stills of Michael’s appearance on the Early Show this morning. It is a short interview but still well worth a look.
Michael is believed to be featured in the current issue of Blackbook (Thandie Newton on the cover). The official site published a fantastic article and a new photoshoot. We’re both unable to obtain this magazine so if anyone out there can check it out for us (and possibly consider donating scans), it would be much appreciated! You can read the article here, in our library.
… To Hall, Dexter is just a monstrous expression of things we all feel. “Shadow energy is something that lots of people have. Some people drag it around and never unpack it, and it conspires against them in ways that they probably can’t appreciate.” Abruptly, Hall looks straight into my eyes. “I relish the opportunity to play someone who invites me to unpack my own bag of shadows.”
Then he surprises me with a smile. “It’s hard to say: perhaps if Dexter hadn’t come along, I’d be killing people in my real life, instead.”
Captures from the Emmys and Jay Leno have been added to the gallery. The videos of these clips will be added soon. We’re currently moving our video archives to a new server thus the downtime. But rest assured, we hope it will be sorted out by this week! In the meantime, you can stream the entire Leno episode here. (Be sure to watch Kate Hudson’s interview as she says something very cute about Michael!).
