Michael C. Hall plays the title role on Showtime’s Dexter, which returns tonight for Season 3. He is late of Six Feet Under. According to E!, he arrived “arm in arm” with his costar, Jennifer Carpenter, for HBO’s Emmy bash last weekend, on the evening he was nominated for but did not win the award for outstanding lead actor in a drama series. “Well, yeah — to extend the metaphor, you do dive into the waters of the show. You’re pretty much swimming in them, it feels like one long day — in a way that I totally welcome and enjoy. … But right now I’m very much in the thick of it.”

The gallery has been updated with Michael C. Hall scans galore! We would like to pay a special thanks to Sana for sharing lots of her Michael collection with us. It’s immensely appreciated. This update features publications all the way back to 2002 with his Six Feet Under promotion and many new things like the Dexter faux mini magazines now inside most of the magazines which the covers are modeled after. Michael also was photographed for The NY Times and the totally cool image from that is now available!

We’d like to ask that you please don’t repost this material on any other sites/forums without our permission and a courteous credit. This coverage is quite rare, thank you. Now enjoy!

For Dexter, life seems to be going well. His relationship with Rita and her kids is back on track. He’s no longer under scrutiny at his day job as a blood spatter analyst for Miami Metro Homicide. And his night job as a serial killer is operating on all cylinders. So when he sets his sights on Freebo, a dope dealer and killer, it looks to be just another night of Dexter’s dark justice. But things don’t go as planned and Dexter must find a way to extract himself from a pair of problems that he created, both in his home and night life. Dexter also finds himself inexorably drawn to Miguel Prado, an Assistant District Attorney, who has a very personal reason to bring Freebo to justice. Meanwhile, Debra is put in a difficult situation when someone from Internal Affairs wants her to inform on her new partner, Quinn

Be sure to check out this lengthy and informative interview with Michael C. Hall courtesy of Crave Online.

“Yeah, I feel like a press secretary or something.”

“The Incredible Hulk, for sure and I see parallels between that character and Dexter in terms of you know this undeniable, un-checkable – well, in Dexter’s case maybe it’s checkable – but darkness or compulsion or the Jekyll and Hyde kind of thing. I think as a kid, there were lots of things that I liked but that one I remember pretty vividly. I loved that show.”

“I mean the promo department, the in house people they have at Showtime and the people they hire to do some of the more expansive promo shoots and live action stuff, they’re so good and so imaginative and so really in tune with what I feel the heart of the show is. It’s really nice to step into those studio shoots or promo shoots and feel that you’re stepping into something that really supports and has an appreciation for the nugget of what the show is about.”
