Although Michael C. Hall and Liev Schrieber (The Omen) have been rumored for the part of the villainous William Stryker in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the role has reportedly gone to actor Danny Huston, most known from his work as the lead vampire in 30 Days of Night. JoBlo.com reports that Huston will play the younger version of the military scientist played in X2: X-Men United by Brian Cox, and that he’s already in New Zealand preparing for the role. Stryker is the brains behind the Weapon X program that turned Logan into the adamantium-laced Wolverine. USA Today has published the very first still of Hugh Jackman in the movie so production is very much underway and filming as we speak. Hopefully an official casting announcement will happen soon and we can find out some truth to the matters. |
