Aw. :( I have to say I was quite disappointed by this year's Golden Globe winners. Although I have to say I'm very pleased that Johnny Depp, 'Sweeney Todd' and Cate Blanchett were recognized (ooh, and Dario Marianelli, who composed 'Atonement's' absolutely beautiful score), the winners on the TV performance-side were less satisfying.

I mean, really, though. It angers me how many times excellent (and often supporting) roles are overlooked. When will Robert Sean Leonard be recognized for his portrayal of Wilson on 'House'? When will Chloë Sevigny be recognized for her portrayal of Nicki on 'Big Love'? When will Tricia Helfer be recognized for her portrayal of Number Six on 'Battlestar Galactica'? And when, ohh when, will Michael C. Hall be recognized for his magnificent performance on 'Dexter'? Yargh. Golden Globes are such a disappointment each year, I tell you.

Unfortunately I pretty much saw this coming. The voters seem to favor safe and boring choices, like medical shows, leaving the truly refreshing and unique in the dark. :uhh:
