The entire creative ensemble of Dexter was awarded an award of a year in excellency at the 2008 AFI Awards Luncheon. The event was held yesterday in Los Angeles and Michael was there to accept on behalf of the show. Huge congrats on the well deserved accolade. :) I have added the first few pictures, hopefully we will have more later on today. Here is what the American Film Institute had to say about Dexter (I for one totally agree!):

Hall’s masterfully nuanced performance as Dexter breathes humanity into a monster – a killer who murders those he believes have gotten away with murder.
